Alfix - The Complete Wetroom & Tiling Solution

CES Ltd, of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire has been appointed as distributor of the extensive range of Alfix products which includes powder based adhesives, ready-mixed (including epoxy based) and special admixtures, grouting, levelling compounds, tanking systems for wetrooms and other ancillary products.

The wetroom products typify the Alfix business approach. These products have been in use in Scandinavia for the past 25 years and basically comprise of a 4-part system.  The first stage is to prime any surfaces to be classed as “wet”.  The second stage is to use the unique Alfix seal strip.  This self adhesive product is applied to all wall to floor joints, internal corners and any other vulnerable points within the wetroom e.g. pipe penetrations.  Stage 3 is to apply the drain mat around the drainage gully.  The final stage is to apply a sealing membrane (3 versions available) to a thickness of 1mm.  The end result is a completely tanked wetroom, utilising products that can be applied to any existing substrate achieving a fully watertight room.

The adhesive range includes various different types, for instance, adhesives for porcelain, natural stone, mosaics, and everyday ceramics.

The products conform to current European EN standards.  With over 40 years manufacturing experience Alfix can offer full technical support to cover all aspects of using their products in ceramic tiling contracts, including laboratory testing facilities.
